SPOILER WARNINGS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE LATEST CHAPTER OF THE NARUTO/BLEACH MANGA YET (or if you're an anime noob and are sitting through the filler series... I pity you children.) Also a warning if you haven't read BREAKING DAWN yet (which is crap, so don't bother children. :D)
Just because I felt like laughing about something, I was thinking about the latest chapter of Naruto 312 and how hilarious it is. Yeah, even though I can deal with Sasuke's character now (I previously had a disliking for him and wondered when he would just keel over or something...) it was really difficult for me to get through previous chapters were it was Sasuke-centric. I was personally hoping that he would actually die in all those moments where it looked like he would (only to have him miraculously still alive and kicking -___- and with some corny explanation about how he survived to boot). So I was pleasantly surprised to find him severely injured by the Eight-tails, to the point where he nearly died (and dang-nabbit because he didn't... not hating, I just think his death could resolve a lot of the serie's issues).
I absolutely love the Eight-tails at the moment and am sure that when they finally defeat him, I'll be really sad to see him go (you had a good run and a lot of good hits in and made the Naruto manga believable again, thank you Eight-tails! XD). And I love the fact that during his fight with Sasuke--which he isn't really taking seriously because he's too busy thinking about something else, LOL--he's thinking up rhymes, even taking out a notebook to write it down as Sasuke's trying to land a blow on him, AHAHAHAHAHAH!
And here I was thinking that Kishimoto was going to have Sasuke defeat the Jinchuuriki effortlessly after Juugo and Suigetsu went down so easily, only to laugh hysterically when Sasuke was finally knocked down a few pegs which he was in serious need for. I wonder if Kishimoto made the Eight-tails to deflate Sasuke's head a bit... XD
But anyway, now that Sasuke knows to be more careful around his opponent and not act as cocky as he was, I'm afraid the Eight-tails will be defeated (but not without a fight, yo! XD) but I'll have to wait see because a new chapter didn't come out this week because of a holiday in Japan. Can't wait for next week though!
Not only that, but I'm waiting impatiently for the new Bleach chapter to come out too! I can't wait for them to finally get back to the Ichigo and Ulquiorra fight, I mean, no offense to the Elite shinigami group, but I really want to see Ichigo finally redeem himself against Ulquiorra (although, I am a bit worried since Ulquiorra drew out his sword... D: ). So here's to hoping that next week brings out good chapters from both Naruto and Bleach! :D
So anyways, once again, Stephenie Meyer fails with an absolutely disappointing final book in the Twilight series (she really should've left it at Twilight rather than add on all the fails after it). I mean, LOL, Jacob imprints on 'Nessie (it's what me and my friends prefer calling "Renesme" (gosh, that sounds as fanfiction-y as "Albus Severus". Authors seem to know how to make fail novels...). But anyway, I refuse to finish Breaking Dawn. It sounds too painfully fanfiction-y to endure (which reminds me of HP *shakes head sadly*). She tried, but I think she needs to work on her stuff and improve a bit as an author because that ending of the series was rather bizarre. I wonder if all authors prefer happy endings. If I were the author, I'm pretty sure I would've ended up killing the main character because it would've made more sense (and besides, too many happy endings is rather disappointing read in my opinion. We've got to have more books that don't really end on those unbelievably happy notes "and they lived peacefully after all the angst and rubbish, I, as the author put them through". Not saying they should make the ending angsty or depressing either, but do they always have to end with them happily living out the rest of their life in peace and bliss?)
Well anyway, enough of my ramblings, I'm going to be really busy for the next three weeks because I have a tonne of assignments and my SC trials to get through but hopefully I can continue to blargh in this whenever possible.
